about

Strange and beautiful, “4″ is a testament to what we love at camomille : something we’ve never heard before. Continuing on a string of highly respected releases in the netlabel world, notably on Autoplate and One (R.i.p. x2), we’re ecstatic that Emil chose Camomille for his latest lp.

Tortured and dissonant, like crumbled edges of old memories, these pieces stutter for us in whimsical ways. Looping patiently and awkwardly, the melodies are crushed and remade, mutated and refashioned. Klotszch reminds us with this album that even though chaos surrounds us, letting go and surrendering to the noise will undoubtedly direct us towards grace, peace and beauty.
