Once in a while you happen upon the kind of music that Russia's Kosta T makes. Beyond technique and form, although definitely not lacking any, there somtimes comes an artist that wields an overwhelming mass of emotion and potential. 'New Life' is a collection of small, incredibly touching and diverse incursions into modern composition and electronic music. Almost punk in nature, these short tracks are raw and free of the superficial : their simplicity driven by a perfect concoction of suprise, improvisation and rhythm. Kosta T's first contribution to Camomille is a walk through barren territories.
